Often Asked Questions and Answers:
Q: What Is STAB?
Answer: STAB is Same-Type-Attack-Bonus. STAB means that, if a pokemon uses a move That is the same type as itself, the moves power is 1.5 times the normal power. For Example: A Crobat Uses Heat Vave, With 100 Power. But When A Charizard Uses Heat Wave, It Has 150 Power, Or 1.5 times the normal.
Q: What Are EVs?
Answer: EV Stands For Effort Values. If A pokemon Battles A pokemon That Gives 1 Speed EV, That Pokemon That Defeated the Pokemon That Gave 1 Speed EV for Defeating it gains 1 speed ev. Every 4 EVs a pokemon gets in 1 Stat equals another point for that stat by the time it gets to lvl 100. A pokemon can have up to 510 EVs but only 255 per stat. Therefore, a pokemon can max out 2 stats. But most people only get 252 EVs per Stat, or 63 extra stat points by the time that pokemon gets to lvl 100, as the last 3 would be wasted, not amounting to another point for that stat. So people just get 4 evs or 1 stat point, for another 3rd stat.
